Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Sendpository transactional email API and dashboard, operated by Pixelivate. By creating an account or sending email through the API, you agree to them.
Last updated 29 September 2026
1. The service
Sendpository is a transactional email service. You verify a domain you control, generate an API key, and send email through our API. We handle delivery, signing, logging and webhooks.
The service is for transactional email - messages sent in response to something a recipient did, such as password resets, receipts, alerts and confirmations. It is not a bulk marketing platform, and we may decline or stop traffic that behaves like one.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and confirm your email address before you can send.
- You are responsible for everything done with your API keys. Keep them secret - anyone holding a key can send as you.
- One person or entity per account. Don't share logins.
- You must be legally able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.
Tell us promptly at billing@sendpository.com if you believe a key or account has been compromised, so we can revoke it.
3. Domains you send from
You may only add and send from domains you own or are authorised to use. Domain ownership is proven through DNS records, and we sign your mail with DKIM keys we generate and hold encrypted on your behalf.
Sending from a domain you do not control is a violation of these terms and grounds for immediate suspension.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Sendpository to send:
- Unsolicited bulk email, to purchased, scraped or rented lists.
- Phishing, spoofed identities, or messages impersonating another person or organisation.
- Malware, or links to it.
- Content that is unlawful where you or your recipients are, including content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Anything that would violate India's IT Act 2000 and rules made under it, or the anti-spam law applying to your recipients - CAN-SPAM, CASL or GDPR among them.
You must honour unsubscribe and complaint signals. Addresses that hard-bounce or file a spam complaint are added to your suppression list, and continuing to send to them is not permitted.
Poor sending practice affects every customer on our infrastructure, so we monitor bounce and complaint rates and may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that put shared delivery reputation at risk.
The full rules - consent, prohibited content, and what happens when they are broken - are in our Acceptable Use and Anti-Spam Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Plans, quotas and payment
Each plan includes a monthly sending quota. Quota resets at the start of each billing period, and unused quota does not carry over. Once a quota is exhausted, the API returns quota_exceeded until the period rolls over or you move to a larger plan.
Fees are charged in Indian Rupees and are billed in advance for each period. GST applies at the prevailing rate, and a tax invoice is issued for every successful payment. Full billing terms - including renewals, failed payments and refunds - are on the Cancellation and Refunds page.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and the API may be briefly unavailable during deploys, upstream provider incidents or emergency maintenance.
Email delivery depends on receiving mail servers we do not control. We can accept a message and hand it on correctly; whether a particular mailbox provider accepts it is their decision, not ours.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of your content. We process it to deliver your email and to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use the contents of your messages to train anything.
8. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your plan or close your account at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your plan running until the period you have paid for ends; closing revokes your API keys and stops sending immediately. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that fails to pay, or that poses a security or deliverability risk to other customers. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
On termination, sending stops immediately. Your logs and data are kept for the period set out in the Privacy Policy and then deleted. Invoices are kept longer, because tax law requires it.
9. Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be notified by email to your account address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Contact
