Cancellation and Refunds
How to cancel, what happens when you do, and the circumstances in which we refund a payment.

Cancelling
You can cancel from Settings → Billing in the dashboard at any time. No notice period, no email required, no retention call.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Automatic payments end immediately.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for - you keep the quota you bought.
- At the end of that period the account moves to a read-only state. You can still sign in and read your logs; sending stops.
- You can resubscribe at any time, and your domains and settings will still be there.
Refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance for each period. We will refund a payment in full if you ask within 7 days of the charge and you have not made substantial use of the quota it bought.
We will also refund, regardless of when you ask:
- A duplicate or double charge.
- A charge taken after you cancelled.
- A period during which a fault on our side made the service unusable to you.
We do not normally refund:
- Quota you have already sent against.
- Part-used periods where the service worked as described and you simply changed your mind after the window above.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breaching the acceptable-use rules in our Terms.
How to ask
Email billing@sendpository.com from the address on your account, with the invoice number or payment reference and a line on what went wrong. We aim to reply within two working days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank or card issuer may take a further few days to show it - that part is outside our control. A numbered credit note is issued against the original tax invoice at the same time, reversing the GST, and it appears alongside that invoice in your billing history.
Failed payments
If an automatic payment fails, we retry over the following days and email you each time. Sending continues during this period. If the payment has still not gone through after two weeks, the account is suspended until it is settled - nothing is deleted, and paying restores access.
Changing plans
Change plan yourself from Settings in the dashboard. An upgrade takes effect immediately - the larger quota is available at once, and we invoice you only for the days remaining in the current period, plus GST. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal: you have already paid for this period at the higher rate, so you keep that quota until it ends. No refund is due on a downgrade, and you can undo a scheduled one any time before it lands.
See the Terms for how quotas work.
